The stars sashayed down the red carpet to witness the much awaited awards ceremony. Salman danced to a medley of his 2014 hits as did Ranbir, who boogied to hits like Badamteez Dil, Balam Pichkari and Dilli wali Girlfriend. Varun paid homage to the disco hits down the years like yester years’ rage Disco Dancer to today’s Saturday Saturday. Alia danced to a medley of hits from 2014 Queen’s Hungama ho Gaya to Drama Queen Hai from Hasee Toh Phasee. Arjun Kapoor did the same for songs like India Wale from Happy New Year and Tharki Chokro from PK. Shraddha swung to her hits like Dance Basanti and Teri Galliyan.Britanni

All this razzmatazz was juxtaposed by the opening of winner envelopes and the handing over of the Black Lady to the jubilant winners. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Kamini Kaushal for her pioneering as well as long-lasting contribution to Indian Cinema. The award ceremony was hosted by Kapil Sharma and Director Karan Johar and was held at YRF Studios, Andheri. Together they provided an effervescent camaraderie and sparkling wit that kept the audience spellbound.
