Where elegance flourishes in floor length gowns & kurtas with nipped in waist, empire lines dresses gushing with chiffon in ink blue, ox blood & deep peacock hues highlighted with copper & gold zardozi & tonal sequin work.
The Emphasis has been on cuts aimed at creating a elegant sophisticated final effect to enhance any female figure. How did you venture into Fashion Design?
Ever since I was in school I knew this was what I wanted to do. I was fortunate enough to study at NIFT New Delhi and after that I got to work with Tarun Tahiliani. That experience taught me everything I know about design – he is the best teacher/mentor one could hope for.
Tell something about the origin and evolution of the brand Rabani- Rakha?
My best friends from college Rahul and Shibani had already launched “Rabani”. Once I quit my job, it was the natural progression to collaborate with them, thus creating “Rabani & Rakha”.

Style for me is being comfortable in your own skin.

I think they are very talented and have lots to offer in terms of fresh ideas and perspectives on the modern men and women.
What is your trend forecast for this winter season?
We will see a lot of black as usual along with rich jewel tones. People have really started experimenting a lot these days so we will see catsuits, concept saris and various versions of sari gowns too.
