Couturier Seema Gujral paints a canvas focussing on the woman of today. This new collection is inspired by the Seema Gujral woman who sings her own tune and lives by her own rules. This is an eternal love story, seen across the beautiful Italian riviera traveling right back to our roots in mainland India.
Fiori is the tale of the millennial bride, her sisters and her friends. With a continuing effort to create collectible ensembles for the bride, it is now time to focus on a segment as important as the bride and the groom, the extended family, the sisters, the friends and the bridesmaids. Keeping with the signature aesthetics and design sensibility of Seema Gujral, a new selection of Shararas has been designed for the festive and wedding season. Each piece is created to become an heirloom, for the woman of today, a woman who wants to start her own set of traditions to match those of her mothers and grandmothers, a woman who takes style seriously and wants modern ensembles that still hold the charm of erstwhile couture. This new-age girl is all about ease and comfort paired with glamor and mystique.
This collection showcases handcrafted, intricate embroidery work using pearls, beads, sequins, crystals, thread work, mirror work and heavy applique motifs. With stunning embellishments, bold floral motifs and multi coloured, three-dimensional embroidery, every piece is unique and striking. Though the silhouettes are seemingly traditional, these outfits are for the contemporary woman of today. With plenty of sheen and glamor, these ensembles include accents like off shoulder, low backs, hi-low jackets, peplum tops, hallmarks of looks created exclusively across all Seema Gujral collections. Keeping the personality of the modern woman in mind, the color palette has been kept neutral, from creams to dusty colors transitioning into deeper tones for evening soirees.
