Shasha Gaba’s collection ‘Made For Each Other’ celebrates each relationship and love story in its special and unique way. The collection is a tribute to the power of love, memories, and the beauty of life. The idea behind this collection was to capture the essence of Shasha Gaba’s Grandparents’ 50th Anniversary.
The collection’s theme is a fusion of botanical garden flowers, fauna, rivers, rainforest, and skies, with an emphasis on daisies, lotuses, marigolds, and dragonflies. The embroidery is traditional handcrafted zardozdi, fused with french knots, sequins, Swarovski crystals, intricate chain stitch, and dabka work. The collection features an array of delicate veils, Lehengas with cholis and cut blouses, ballroom dresses, sarees with heart-shaped blouses, palazzos, crop tops, and peplum bustiers.
The menswear collection showcases signature Shasha Gaba elements with sherwanis, waistcoats, and kurtas. The color palette for the collection ranges from pastel shades, soft blush colors, and tones with a hint of bright hues of wine interspersed with pink, rust, and beige. Geometrical patterns, triangle forms, sprinklers, and hearts have been employed as the collection’s primary motifs.
