Lignage Collection – Ramón Esteve

If Design Award 2019

The Lignage collection, designed by Ramón Esteve for Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms, has won the prize thanks to more than 60 international jury members. For 66 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design.

Lignage brings back several devices that were traditionally used in classical faucets and reinterprets them through a new design with a contemporary visual vocabulary that results in very noticeable pieces. The spout tracing an arc or the oversized conical handles make this collection a natural heir of the most classical, sophisticated faucets.

The ergonomic shape combines with the elegant, sensuous curves through its simple geometry and delicate measures. Its conical base and slender handles add a sophisticated style that is also functional due to a rough texture that recalls the knurling on industrial components. Born from an intense formal synthesis, although rich in detail at the same time, LIGNAGE fits in both contemporary spaces and traditional atmospheres.

A diverse palette of nishes that allows every faucet to fit in the place where it is set, while provides them with a noticeable look due to an exclusive design.
