Makeup Trends this season
Fresh, glowing, radiant skin is here to stay and how! According to makeup artists, foundation is mostly out for the spring/ summer 2019 beauty trends, with a strong preference for glowy, bare skin. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest makeup trends this upcoming season:
Clean skin
Maximum makeup artists are not a big fan of foundation. An important spring/ summer 2019 makeup trend is to keep the skin foundation free. Instead, you can go for a touch of concealer or some blurring primer only on the spots where it is needed. If you tend to sweat and hate the feel of foundation sliding down your face, then we are sure you’re going to enjoy this light and breezy way of making up your complexion.
The bronzed makeup is back this season and is paired well with peachy eye shadow and a hint of highlighter. Today, it is about tan or dusky looks more than colour tone up with foundation which is making a rage.
A dose of highlighter gives a more pronounced glow that goes well with rosy lips and peach cheeks.
Pretty in pink
From blush to eye shadow to lips – Pink is favoured as part of the spring/ summer 2019 makeup trends, especially in monochrome looks where pink powder is used on both eyelids and cheekbones, while a matching rose tint graces the lips.
Delicate Smoky eye
The few smoky eyes that showed up on the runways really stood out and seemed darker than they truly were. Today, it is about softer smoky eyes for spring, in lighter shades like amethyst and coffee.
Just gloss
Glossy lips is one of the ‘90s-inspired’ spring/summer 2019 makeup trends that has become popular, particularly in a naturally nude shade that does not require lipstick. Glossy lips, dewy skin and a rim of black liner around the eyes make for an ideal makeup combination.
